Article: Google AdWord Ads - Effective Writing Techniques
Since Google's AdWords program is the predominant mechanism that online marketers employ to draw potential customers to their websites, I thought it would be useful to go over a few tips and techniques that I have found to be very effective in creating a successful AdWords campaign.
First, I have always found it effective to capitalize the first letter of every word in the headline. Secondly, make sure to use your keywords that you are targeting in the advertisement, this will allow them to appear in bold.
You can run lines two and three together to make a statement. It is helpful to include concrete numbers whenever possible. Examples would include, "Earn $2,500 Extra Per Month" or "Lose 20 Pounds In 40 Days." However, when using concrete numbers, do not use numbers that are unbelievable or outlandish. This will be perceived as pure hype. A bogus ad if you will.
Next, do not put the name of your business in the headline. The potential customer is searching for their needs, not you (at least not yet)! Don't use unnecessary words like a, an, the etc....
Consider using word phrases that play on the psychology of the customer to spur buying interest. For example, "Limited Time Only", "Limited Quantity Available" etc........
Also, look around and notice the most successful ads in your specific niche. Identify the ones that run over and over again. If they are running again and again, then they are pulling traffic. Study these ads and try to emulate their successful qualities.
Finally, don't worry about being number 1 in the Google Search Ads results. The number 1 spot of course gets a lot of clicks, however, a large majority of those clicks may not even be clicks from potential customers, they may only be what I call "look sees", they may just be looking around for what they can see.

Article: He's Not Been Robbing But Blogging To The Bank Yet Again
Another valuable resource for both complete beginners and advanced bloggers alike is Blogging To The Bank 2.0 by Rob Benwell.
There are a few minor spelling mistakes, but this e-book is a well thought out blue print, and if applied correctly could provide residual income for years to come.
It is the second of Rob's blogging e-books and is written in the same clear concise manner as his original 37 page, Blogging To The Bank that shook up the blogging world in 2006.
In that book he used techniques, which had not previously been seen or discussed, and he delivers the same sort of information in the sequel. His tips and tricks will benefit everyone.
Rob Benwell certainly knows what he's talking about when it comes to blogging and in this 61 page e-book, Rob shares his knowledge in simple, easy to understand English and easy to follow instructions.
Whilst his first book Blogging To The Bank focused on blogger blogs for promoting clickbank or other affiliate products, Blogging To The Bank 2.0 reveals new strategies to build income using Wordpress.
Rob starts his e-book with what he calls the 5 Blogging Commandments - sensible advice well worth remembering.
He then covers Market Research and gives some really good advice on how to find profitable markets using keyword research for long term niche blogs.
Next comes domains and hosting with a recommendation, which I've never heard of before.
He explains how to create your blog, get content, plugins and how to ping. He discusses promotion and how to get backlinks as well as the four top methods to generate the most traffic.
Discussing Squidoo, Digg, Netscape, the top bookmarking sites, he also goes on to talk a bit about latent semantic indexing which the search engines love and which will undoubtedly become more relevant in the future. This is where you talk about things which are related to your main keyword and therefore give the search engines an idea what the topic is about.

"Latent semantic indexing adds an important step to the document indexing process. In addition to recording which keywords a document contains, the method examines the document collection as a whole, to see which other documents contain some of those same words. This simple method correlates surprisingly well with how a human being, looking at content, might classify a document collection. Although the LSI algorithm doesn't understand anything about what the words mean, the patterns it notices can make it seem astonishingly intelligent."
It's something to be aware of for the future as Rob points out.

Article: Massive Links And Traffic With Article Marketing
One
of the most powerful ways to drive traffic to your site is by
submitting articles to publishers. Most internet marketers fail to
show great results when article marketing because they fail to follow
a few simple rules to make their articles stand out from the clutter.
The
starting point of any good article is the headline. Spend a good
portion of your allotted time on the headline. Make sure it grabs a
passerby attention and it isn't something someone can say ho-hum to.
The headline will draw the user into your article. If you can't get
the person to start reading your article, it doesn't really matter
what is written in the article itself. Really spend some time on the
headline, it pays real dividends.
Next, the article
needs to be engaging, informative and well written. Put a unique slant
on your topic. Then throw a bit of your unique personality into the
mix. You aren't writing for a computer, you want humans to actually
read it and finish it! Make sure to check for spelling and grammar
errors. If it seems it's written by a 2nd grader, nobody is going to
trust what you say!
Now, you'll want to send out unique versions to each publisher. The
duplicate content penalty isn't a myth. The real name should be the
omitted results penalty, but under any name it hurts your chances of
creating back links that count and driving traffic. Create 3 different
versions of your article and get a software tool to combine them into
a unique coherent whole.
Finally, make
sure to send your article to as many ezine owners as is possible.
There are dozens of software packages and services available to submit
your article, though only a handful while send out unique content
automatically. There are some gems to be found, including for the best
price - free! I suggest you spend at least an hour each week building
up a list of ezine and newsletter publishers and websites until you
are submitting your articles to 5,000 publishers or more.
Once you do these things you will find the search engines
love you more, traffic will flow to you and you'll have more back
links. All it takes is a little extra time, which most people aren't
willing to put in. Hardly a cost at all. Stand out from the clutter by
